Please note:
1. All tours are full-day , which means a total of 8 hours from the time of pick up and drop off at your cruise ship.
Our vehicles are authorized to drive right up to the gangway of your ship.
2. The service costs include the pick up at the pier of Civitavecchia, the whole tour and the drop off at the pier of Civitavecchia. Entrance fees to the sights, lunches and souvenirs are NOT included.
3. If you visit cathedrals and churches, gentlemen are required to wear long pants, and ladies to have covered knees and arms. If you do not want to wear long sleeves and trousers all day in the hot Italian weather, we advise you to bring a light sweater and cotton pants along in a small bag. Back packs are not permitted in The Vatican Museums and the Cathedral of St. Peter
• Tour 1
Panoramic tour of Rome, the eternal city
During this tour we will show you the major sights of Rome. The tour is especially for clients who arrive by air in the morning but have enough time before embarking on their cruise ship at Civitavecchia or for clients who arrive by ship at Civitavecchia and have time to visit Rome before boarding their flight home.
Note: This tour is designed for 3 hours (effective time in Rome city centre, time for transfer not included!). Additional hours can be booked but will be charged extra. The service includes pickup at the airport Rome / Civitavecchia pier, the 3-hour tour and drop off at Civitavecchia pier / airport Rome.

Panoramic tour of Rome and a tour of the Vatican
This tour is similar to tour 1 but includes a tour of the Vatican. It is especially designed for clients who disembark the cruise ship in the morning and fly home in the evening, but of course can be booked as a normal shore excursion as well, with pick-up and drop-off at Civitavecchia pier.

Rome “on your own”!
For those of you who would like to spend more time in Rome and do not need a driver for the whole day, we offer you the possibility of experiencing the capital city on your own. This tour consists of the transfer from Civitavecchia to Rome centre and the transfer back to the Civitavecchia pier. When the driver drops you off in Rome, you will decide, with him the pick up location and time for the return transfer. He will, of course, advise you of the best meeting point, and show it to your on your map. Be sure to be clear on the time of pick-up and to calculate the walking time you need to get to the meeting point.

If none of the mentioned tours meet with your complete approval, you can design your own tour. It will be a satisfaction for us to make your ideas possible. Please approach us with your ideas and we will discuss them together.

The religious tour: Churches and Basilicas of Rome
If a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums are not enough to satisfy your religious or architectural appetite, we invite you to book a tour for a glimpse of further famous Roman churches. The Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls (Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura), the Basilica of St. John Lateran (Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano), Basilica of Saint Mary Major (Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore)and the Church of Santa Croce In Gerusalemme, where you will find relics of the cross and the only clone of the Robe of Turin. These are just a few of the fantastic churches in the city of Rome.. Of course we will take into consideration the churches you might have chosen to visit in advance.

Roman wine in the Castelli Romani
For those of you who have visited Rome before , we suggest an excursion to the Castelli Romani, located at short distance south-east of Rome, at the feet of the Alban Hills. We will take you to Frascati, famous for its white wine, to Castel Gandolfo, a picturesquel town overlooking lake Albano, and the summer residence of The Pope.
Note: There will be additional costs for the wine-tasting, as well as the bottled purchases you surely will make.

Florence and Pisa
Starting at the pier in Livorno the tour will lead you through the Tuscan countryside with its hills and cypress trees. The first stop will be in Florence, with the Dome, the naked David, the Uffizi museums and the Ponte vecchio bridge; the second in Pisa where you can visit the Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles).

Tuscan Wine in the Chianti Region
For those of you who have had enough of art, history and religion and who want a more “solid” (or shall we say liquid…) excursion: you may visit the Chianti region, world famous for its red Chianti wine, and the towns Montalcino (Brunello di Montalcino), Montepulciano (Vino Nobile) and Greve in Chianti (various Tuscan wines). The visit of a winery, where you can follow the technique of wine making from the vineyard to the bottle, is also included in the tour, as is the stop-off at a medieval castle!

Pisa and Lucca
For those of you who have already been to Florence we offer a day trip to Lucca and Pisa. Only half an hour from Livorno is the historical town of Lucca, founded by the Etruscans. Pisa, known for its famous Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), will complete the tour.

Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni
A drive of approximately an hour and a half will take you to the medieval village of San Gimignano with it's 13 majestic towers. Sam Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena. It is mainly famous for its medieval architecture and the towers, which may be seen from several kilometers outside the town. From here it is only a short drive to Siena, the only town in the world that boasts a traditional medieval horse race right in the town square: the palio, held every year in the summertime. A visit to Monteriggioni will complete the tour.

A bit of history: From Naples to Pompeii to Sorrento
After pick-up at the pier, your driver will bring you to the petrified city of Pompeii. Pompeii was destroyed, and completely buried, during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days in AD 79. After you have visited the ruins you will be driven down the panoramic coast to the town of Sorrento. The drive offers breathtaking views of the precipitous Amalfi-coast, and the driver will be obliged to stop along the way so you can take pictures.

The tour starts with a panoramic tour of the city of Naples, capital of the province “Campania”. We will then drive you along the coastal roads to Sorrento and Positano with a spectacular view of the Amalfi coast.

Down the winding narrow streets of the Amalfi-coast with their sheer cliffs and amazing scenery we will drive you first to Positano and then on to the beautiful village of Ravello. The driver will give you enough time along the way to admire everything and take lovely pictures.
