Rome City Council and the British Embassy in Rome are promoting a prevention campaign against passport loss, aimed at all English speaking tourists visiting Rome.
The message “Lose your passport, lose your holiday: keep it safe” will be advertised on all transport services including train stations, buses, airports, info points & social media, by means of posters, videos, banners and multimedia supports.
The campaign highlights the importance of keeping your passport safe. Losing your passport will cost you time, money and could ruin your entire holiday. Obtaining an emergency travel document can take several days. You may need to obtain a police report, get new passport photos, and get to and from your Embassy.

Important information:

1. All tours are full-day , which means a total of 8 hours from the time of pick up and drop off at your cruise ship. Our vehicles are authorized to drive right up to the gangway of your ship.
2. The service costs include the pick up at the pier of Naples, the whole tour and the drop off at the pier of Naples. Entrance fees to Pompeii, Paestum or Herculaneum are NOT included.
3. If you visit cathedrals and churches, gentlemen are required to wear long pants, and ladies to have covered knees and arms and décolleté
4. Private authorized guides  can be obtained at an extra cost.

The advantages of booking a private shore excursion:

  • An English speaking chauffeur , will meet you at the ship. He will have  your name on a name sign so that you can identify him
  • You get to save time and visit so much more than you would with a large cruise line group.
  • Your chauffeur will drive you in a private vehicle to the city of your choice , and proceed to tour you around or he will introduce you to your very own private guide, if you choose to book one.

*It is mandatory to have a guide for groups of 9 persons and above.

  • Vehicles  such as sedans, 4 to 6 seater minivans and 8 seater minivans, are permitted to drive right up to each monument.  In this case there is no extra walking.
